The game earlier in the year got 60K, I reckon something similar is on the cards. For every Pies supporter there, there will be 2 Richmond ones :)
we always play em when we are crap at the start of the year or when they are crap

both sides in the top 8 now would be 80k at a minimum

In 2013 we were both in the 8 and we got 84k and there was more tigers that day too

Forgot to mention I reckon there will about 20-25K pies there, so I'd say 40-45K Tigers. 65K would be good

Theres always more Tigers because we're bigger than them.

50 odd thousand.
I hate them, but they always turn up and know they have a very good record against us in recent years.

As a matter of fact Groupie that game in 2013 was the only round in the past three years of finalling in which we went into a round in the top 4. Just shows the potential of a top 4 run to really see us explode.

Have you heard the radio?

Pies are actually advertising to try and get their bogan army out just to show us who really is the biggest name in town

Don't normally pay attention tbh, but can't remember the last time the pies had to radio advertise to encourage their mbers to actually rock up

Had to be on the radio cause most of their supporters don't own a telly.

No GA ground level at the Punt rd end? Surely Pies aren't using that area for their reserved seat members?

They're just selling it as Reserved Seating for the public, which is interesting since Geelong had it as GA for their game last week against Hawthorn. There is 4 bays in 2A that are General Admission though, which is random.

They are no different to anyone else. A run outside the top 8 - even a short one - and they fall off in droves.

Maybe it'll button uncle Eddie's overused lip.

No press red for utensil' Ed this year.

What a total shock that is when its a game they are not expected to win.

The only thing that is important is to win and win by a large margin.

Disagree.

Throughout sport the fans of one or other club "Owning" a stadium is important. It is why home advantage is so important.

It important for Richmond to show we are back as a genuinely huge presence capable of "owning" the now shared MCG. It actually makes an onfield difference and is psychologically important for a club.

If the MCG is the "Tigers House" today or any day it helps.

If the Melb weather is anything like Sydney's weather today, it feels just like September - would be great to get a big crowd and and a good win.
