Am I right in saying that all these are out of contract next year?? Or hasn't it been updated.
It seems a lot. But we'll be right who doesn't want to win back-back premierships. ;)

Wouldn't mind 2 Lachlan Hunters on our list. Think the kid will be just that good.

It's not a lot really, 44 on the list, always 1,2 or 3 year contracts, so there's always going to be about half the players contracts coming up each year.

Exactly. The annual average would be about 16 contracts due for renewal (excl rookies). Maybe take off a couple for retirements/delistings/trades and you still have 14 or so.

The key is to prioritise them. You want to lock away the core of your team who are still in their prime (Minson, Griffen, Cooney) and those on the rise (Liberatore, Wallis, Smith, Talia) and then worry later on about fringe players you might want to keep (e.g. Addison, Pearce) and older players (eg Murphy, Boyd) - or do them whenever it's convenient, if a deal can be struck quickly and painlessly.

It probably comes down to no more than half a dozen crucial re-signings each year.

HOLY SHITTTT!!!!! Excited!!!!!

Who are the Dogs after, Which Players?

Ralphy Response
Gumbleton, Crameri. Want Crameri bad. But they also want to keep most of their picks. Good story in the Herald Sun tomorrow about the Dogs. Make sure you buy the paper

Plenty of kids really happy to stay at the Kennel, Blake

Anyone worried Talia still hasn't re-signed. For a guy that loves the club and who has shown alot of potential i can't believe pen hasn't been put to paper yet.
he could be on holidays
could be working out deals
or they could have signed tons of players but won't release till after the finaincal report

It really says a lot with us only offering him a 1year deal.
What exactly does it say? He only played 8 games remember. And a couple of them were only average. He hasn't proven to be worth more than a 1 year contract at this point in time.
