That cats, much like libertarians, are completely ungrateful and oblivious to the importance of their provider in the day to day survival of their seemingly independent lives?

That cat owners and their piece of crap pets are responsible for the destruction of billions of native animals.

You own them, you look after them, your repsonsibility.

His point being, a * tonne of cat owners are irresponsible dickheads that get away with crap other pet owners don't.

Says the dude that thinks live baiting is fine. You really are a simpering hypocrite Gus.

Rabbits are vermin. No issue with killing millions of them.

Either does the Government. Something you, the pious self righteous one have never started a thread about nor said anything about condoning.

Why is that? You hate the cruelty to rabbits, yet you Mr Hero have not addressed our own Governments using Mixo and calcivirus on rabbits which is a far more porlonged and cruel daeth than being killed by a dog.

it's been going on for 30+ years. Why you say nothing? Why you no rage?

You're insipid way of life where your faux outrage only reacts to something when it's shoved right under your nose is symptomatic of that certain section of the whiney cry baby left.

Don't call others hypocrites when you're a beacon of the very meaning of it.

Animals die of disease all the time, like humans and sometimes it's a slow painful death. There's a world of difference between that, and having canines rip them apart in the name of entertainment, and/or profit.

hahaha

Look at you, trying to defend the state sanctioned drawn out cruel death of what was a healthy animal until it was given the disease on purpose, by humans.

Such a hypocrite.

Being very disingenuous to call out hypocrisy here.

Firstly, he did not state whether he was for or against such baiting programs. Secondly, it is ultimately an argument of intent.

Using baits when there's no other choice, to control an ecological problem is in a whole other universe to tying up a rabbit to something, and letting a dog maul it to death for laughs and a profit.

Also, calicivirus is used because it is considered more humane than myxomatosis.

Your quote "rabbits are vermin" is not even relevant to anything. In fact it is sickening people would use this as justification for live baiting, it's still an animal capable of feeling pain, they are not objects. Animal abusing morons tend to use that argument to justify their abhorrent behaviour.

Waa waa waa. Who cares about rabbits? A greyhound has too learn to chase somehow.

If you deliberately cause unnecessary harm for enjoyment then you're a dick.

And a greyhound doesn't need a live rabbit tied to a piece of wood to do that. Maybe a psychopath/someone devoid of humanity would think that.

'Free' cats with irresponsible masters cause unrepairable environmental damage?

What environmental damage do 'free' multinational corporations create? What about other damage 'free' corporations inflict?

How much are these watches and where can you buy them? This bloke truly is multi-talented and fiercely determined. Not only does he manufacture watches, but for good measure he wins a seat in parliament. It is little-known that he was arguably the greatest drummer/singer in the history of American rock and roll, with The Band. That he died nearly three years ago seems to have affected his diverse career hardly at all. Remarkable.

Some do and when you spend $6000 you don't want the campaigner to just stand there in a race!

Exactly right. A rabbit's an amoral creature that is just living its life as its instincts suggest. They're not "evil" or deserving of a brutal death. They're just where they're not meant to be, and due to the destruction they unwillingly cause to other creatures should be removed.

It's an acknowledged fact that live baiting is more effective, which is why they do it.

The same reason they use live bait in fishing.

You don't hear anyone complaining about fishing though, pilchards aren't as cute as rabbits.

Not true. I have owned cats all my life and most of them are very appreciative of what they get.

That's just what they want you to believe. If you dropped dead in your house they would eat you.
