IN 3 years time, barring injury, Lever is going to be a STAR. Has it all.
He has a bit of a young Darren Glass about him
This guy would have gone top 3 if he had played last year, he's a stick figure yet he's looking like a 100 game player with his composure. Kelly looks pretty damn good as well, seems to have a lot of composure. Both of these kids remind me of Laird when he first burst onto the scene.

Must persist playing lever unless in the unlikely event he plays 4 poor games in a row. He is a key to our future & the sooner we get games into him the better! He is mentally strong, so there is not the same risk there is with others of burning his confidence. Showed his class again today he is calm under pressure with that move between 2 gws players. Having said that, we need to find another tall for some games but more to do with Cheney should not be playing on talls.

Quite a different player to Talia though, far more of a natural offensive style game than Talia who is the elite shut down type.
The difficulty will be deciding whether to play him as the 2nd tall or more 3rd tall, with less responsibility to a player, allowing him to play his more natural aggressive intercept and then counterattack type game. I prefer the latter I think.
Just love his composure and ability to back himself in. His fitness is still a little lacking but that will come with time, as will body strength. You can certainly see where the Luke Hodge across Half-Back comparisons came from.

There is no way Pods is the future but I'd select him this week as it wouldn't be doing Hartigan any favours to chuck him back in with no SANFL form.
As soon as Hartigan is ready for a chance at redemption, Pods should be discarded.

Credit to our recruiters they even deliberately lost draft positions and still got him. Two first rounders in two consecutive years can really set up a Club if done correctly.

Lucky there's a bye soon... he looks tired... but yeah looks like the steal of the draft. . Except for sydney who actually stole from the draft.
He's been playing over 90% TOG since his debut. Remarkable considering he's coming off an ACL and half a pre-season.

Named the third best for us tonight.
In a game that featured two of the super heavyweights of the comp ie Danger and Fyfe along with Thommo he was in good company.
