Got best figures of 6/31 in an innings against South Africa. Only got to bat once making a solid 22 off 21. Was a silly nick. Tried to square cut one a bit too close. Kept playing around with their fields though. Got a lot of balls on the stumps, would hit them behind square, they'd move a man there, then in-front haha

Just started.

Dove straight into career.

My guy is just fielding in the deep. Doing nothing. Bring me on coach!!

Liked the in depth player creator.
Is your player a bowler? batter? all rounder?
You can simulate to player action to avoid having to stand in the field for each ball

Good thing about getting captaincy in career mode is that you can bowl yourself whenever you want

Yeah figured that out :)

Silly.

Seriously get yourself in the nets.

Well and truly over bowling.

Grinding through 30-40 overs at 2/2.5 rpo and watching the runs pile on when I'm taken off is bad. Watching the first ball I face balloon up into the outstretched hands of a diving mid on is even worse. Back to the grind. :( At least I'm taking a few wickets.

It's time Somerset made me captain, too. Trescothick always bowls first if he wins the toss. Numpty.

Bowling is becoming so boring lately. I feel myself aging whenever I'm put in to bowl.

just the same old action over again and getting no results, it's just not as fun as the ricky ponting or Cricket 07 bowling was.

I just feel like re-starting my career and becoming an opening batsman. Anyone else feeling this way?

In my first career I was an all rounder, I changed from to a specialist batsman after a few days because bowling was just too much grind for me. Especially when I was still getting to grips with batting back then and getting out cheaply all the time.

Here's my form in the recent 2 match test series against the West Indies:

Game 1:
Australia vs West Indies @ MCG - Australia won by 113 runs.

Australia First Innings:
16 runs (6) - Total 10/283

West Indies First Innings:
5/38 runs from 20 overs - pretty great and best figures for me, but far out Gayle can bat. He mad 225 (226) before I had him caught. Would always just push the ball away. - Total 10/469

Australia Second Innings:
95 runs (71) before being run out -.- - Total 10/477

West Indies Second Innings:
0/23 from 9 overs Total: 10/178

Game 2:
Australia vs West Indies @ MCG - Australia won by 8 wickets.

Australia First Innings:
4 runs (3) out caught. Total - 10/536

West Indies First Innings:
0/11 from 8 overs. Total - 10/301

West Indies Second Innings:

2/64 from 26 overs (this was horrible). Total - 10/406

Australia Second Innings:
DNB. Total - 2/173

Skipped a few county games and about to start an ODI series against them.

For those on PS3 and PC, TableTop Cricket has a release date of Feb 25 (PS4/XBONE versions will come later this year).

Here's the trailer:

BigAnt reps, seems to be a glitch in the PS4 version with glasses, every set is super bright. Can't make them darker than light grey even when choosing black.

Edited to add screenshot. All colours are set to the blackest black.

I'm useless at batting, bowling I'm ok, my first innings I got 3-60ish off around 30 overs which was good for a spinner. First ball duck and 7 off 6 balls in the batting stakes.

I did some net work but still poop at it.

I love my pace bowling. It just sucks when I've bowled 4 overs got like 1/2 and the score line is still 1/36 off 8 overs. * bowling bouncers though. Leaks all the runs

Got Kallis out in the best way. Was on 145 off as many balls, noticed anything on middle stump was getting hit to mid-wicket or mid-on. Had a guy there but would just bounce before it reached them. Put a guy in at silly mid-wicket and kept bowling a middle stump line. He would block and block, bowled a slow yorker on off, tried to flick it, straight to man in close. Was glorious.

What difficulty you have it on?

Bumped it up a difficulty level and restarted my career as I wanted to bowl too. Need to learn the tactics of cricket now can't just smash every ball. Also what's the game plan I should use as a pace bowler? Do I just keep bowling at the stumps or move it around a bit?

On a side note HBK619 had 2 bugs today. One just as I pressed the right stick to start my jump in the bowl the screen went black. Could still access the psn menu but game was dead.

Then when restarting it got to the screen where it asks if I wanted to download newest teams but it was flicking through the two options itself. I couldn't do anything but restart the game again. Doubt you can do anything about either but just thought I'd let Ya know.

First class and tests - I'm a left arm pacer so feel free to change accordingly. I have 1 slip, Gully/Third Man (up close or back depending on how much bounce or wide I bowl), point, extra cover (not regular, saves more runs and encourages drives), mid on, mid off, mid wicket, square leg and deep fine leg. I try to bowl out swingers to both with some straighter ones to right handers with the newer ball. I don't bowl too many yorkers unless they are driving me well. Some batsman will require different fields though. With the older ball I try more cutters and yorkers. Mostly hit straight or through mid-wicket. Get a fair few bowl, caught and bowled, keepers and mid off catches.

ODI and T20 - Same sort of field but I bring third man inside the circle and push mid wicket back. Might move fine leg more square if they try and flick my yorkers. Bowl a lot more yorkers with a lot more lbw and bowled
