Congratulations to Dominic "Donza" Monteleone (A Reserves) and Robbie Gulifa (B Reserves) on their league B and F wins last night... Both players very hard at the footy and always put their body on the line, play for their team and club and both very deserved winners! Best wishes to their respective clubs on winning the flag to go with it!

Northern Saints' Tamer Abdallah won the Bill Hutchison Medal by one vote.

Abdallah polled three votes in Northern Saints' final game of the season against Glenroy to overtake Tullamarine's Michael Egan and Airport West's Marcus Kenny, 16 votes to 15.
Tullamarine's David Scott was a prolific poller early in the season but would finish fourth with 14 votes. Abdallah became his club's first senior EDFL medallist since the 2007 merger of North Coburg and Fawkner Park to form the current-day Northern Saints.

Congratulations.

I wonder what impact on the crowd for Sundays big game the fact that Essendon play Carlton in a final. EDFL probably a bit stiff here.

West Coburg play a good team game but Pacco have some very good players, should be a great contest. Bicer will be hard to stop and could be the difference

Hard to split them but I will stick with PV by 2 goals.
Hopefully umpires don't get sucked in by Graingers acting and give him a few cheap goals like they normally do.

Congrats to Pascoe Vale winning B Grade flag, and very convincingly, well done Denis Bicer for Best On Ground

Hope that pacco do well in A grade... Always good when teams from B grade can succeed in A grade and challenge the same old teams in The top flight

Interesting to see if the boys from Greenvale will continue on in A grade against their good mates...

Unless Doutta improve, you would think that Pacco side would be good enough to stay up next year, but would need to add significantly if they want to challenge for finals.

Very professional outfit down there..

Cant see them being back in B Grade for a while... im guessing

Big news! Lance Whitnall to coach the Roys in 2012. Glenroy beating several other contenders for his signature.

Will he be a playing coach or coach only?..

good news for glenroy if true

Any news on player movement for 2012 yet?

Marwin Abdul-wahed west coburg to northern saints... Very good player was on a VFL list last year... Saints tried to get him for 2011 but had already signed a contract

Apparently is close to a done deal now though
