One parent, 1st year at the club, one 2 year deserved ban encouraged by the club, not a reflection on the club. Every club has emotional types that fail to control themselves. Lets keep it in perspective. More clubs should encourage banning these types of parents.

It was in an u12 div 6 game.A parent that was doing the goal umpiring went off his nut at the umpire a came onto the field .He had to be restrained by the umpire escorts and runners . The players were taken from the field for about ten minutes . Some people must take it to seriously .

Kloynuk has applied for the St Albans coaching job.
With a far superior Team to any other club(well done on recruiting and being able to accomodate Hargreaves & Ohailpin as I'm sue they don't play for the love of the club), he wins the paper Cup in C Grade(unlosable really with the opposition they were against), then he expects to be taken seriously in the top division of another comp? It's laughable really, St Albans committee decided not even to bother waisting their time interviewing him

Thanks to the VAFA, EFL and Bendigo Football League for providing supporters with FREE access to all the Grand Finals. It is great to see those leagues look after their supporters and larger community.

Hi guys, this is my first post but I've been constantly looking through this thread all season. Just wanted to congratulate Hillside Sharks on a fantastic season with promotion to Division 1. Also want to congratulate the EDFL on creating the third comp....big risk but it most certainly payed off by giving clubs who have struggled in the past a better competition where they are no longer getting smashed by 20+ Goals week in week out (Jac, RP, MV, EK, KP). Finally, Welcome to the newcomers of the comp this year (East Sunbury & Coburg Districts) and goodluck to the Burnside Heights FC next year who also are a new team coming into the comp.
I wanted to make my first post by kicking it off and starting predictions for Season 2014 with who I believe are the main contenders for the premiership, YES its a bit early and YES, I dont know who will recruit and who wont but going on from what I have seen this year, this is my personal opinion. I'll also give my prediction for the end of year ladder, best in comp award and best goal kicking award.
My Prediction for the EDFL Division 2 Season in 2014
The Main Contenders for the Premiership & Division 1 Promotion - Moonee Valley & East Keilor
There are two teams next year that will fight it out for the premiership and the chance to be promoted to Division 1 and they are Moonee Valley and East Keilor. Both teams have a good structure around the club, good young talent in there senior and under 18s playing group and from all reports both clubs will settle for nothing less but a senior flag next year.
Moonee Valley - The Valley have had a very successful last two years in the EDFL making the GF under Charlie Denaro on both occasions but unfortunately they fell short both times. They had a decent season this year finishing second on the ladder with 12 Wins & 6 Losses and making it to the big stage yet falling to the dominant Hillside Sharks. The club have a successful Junior System going on and also have a lot of talent in there U18s team. There senior team was made up of 17 players who were under the age of 21 this year showing the young talent that they have. With the departure of Captain Michael Tanner, it will be interesting to see how they cope as they did rely on him a bit too much some might say this year. On another note it is sad to see that coach Charlie Denaro who turned the club around after they were at rock bottom has resigned as Senior Coach after 3 successful years at the club. There have been strong rumours that former valley legend Ian Denny may return to the helm and takeover the troops in Season 2014. I believe if they retain there current playing group, pick up 2-3 new players and continue blooding U18 Players, they'll go a long way in winning that flag next year, hopefully being third time lucky! Congratulations to 17 year old Luke Ryan who took out the clubs BnF.
East Keilor - The cougars were unfortunate this season to miss out on the GF after leading the prelim final by 33 points at 3/4 time but however were run over by the valley in the last Q and lost by 3 points. They showed that they have a whole lot of talent coming through there ranks with the likes of Hill, Napoli & Van Der Byl all being apart of the senior team throughout the year. Young gun Jordy Madden also had a stellar season showcasing his talent across the midfield. The cougars ended up also with 12 Wins & 6 Losses finishing 3rd which could be seen as a successful season for them considering there interrupted pre season with a new coach and a walk out of senior players. If they retain there playing list and recruit 3-5 new good senior footballers they will also be a strong contender for the flag and get that Division 1 promotion. Congratulations to first year player Hayden Phillips who took out the Clubs Best and Fairest Award last Saturday at the clubs presentation night.

How is Moonee Valley tracking with change of coach and Tanner going to Avondale Heights.
With no Hillside in the comp next year you would expect it to be a lot more even.
Will Districts be the Smokey under Tankard ? Ex VAFA div 1 coach you would think his network would be handy.

Sacked coach with sacked players from the Amos. no hope Coburg district are no good and will prove it again. No big signings and ammo coach will make no difference believe me!!!!
You dont seem to rate ammos. Think the division will be even without Hillside and MV losing Tanner.
