Who knows, maybe it was GMac saying the forum should be closed. Strange timing though.

I dont understand the decision. I know alot of people who never posted but used to read the forum still. Of course it was going to be quiet during the off season but now footy has started and there is really no discussion happening.

They just announced it was going to be closed midweek then 2 days later it was gone

Funny that they still advertise it on their footy telecasts

Think it will certainly affect traffic driven to the site. Can pick up scores anywhere these days.

Very strange. Can't think of any other reason why you'd even visit the EFL site. In reality I think it just means the discussion will go on but on other platforms that the EFL can't control or take advantage of. Maybe a few will float over here, seems like a good platform.
