bloody tough game for city. palace can be very difficult to score against, like all pulis teams.
but having aguero back is a big, big plus for them. he's the sort of players who can unlock resolute, aggressive and disciplined teams like palace away from home.

could potentially and very easily be an incredible weekend for liverpool. city and chelsea have not been able to grind out results away from home, which is what liverpool have done for the last couple of months. very hard to win away from home against most teams and liverpool have been able to achieve that.

nasri needs to step up big time without silva. he hasn't shown that he can so far. expect jojo to start in silva's place, he's an incredibly silky player and he's proven he can stay fit now

joe
zaba vinny demi kola
garciadinho
nasri kun jojo
negredo

i expect that lineup.

If Ramires gets banned and Terry's injured then the reshuffling would be interesting

Probably Luiz back to centre back and Mikel midfield next to Matic

Lampard would play you'd imagine since he can't play in the 2nd leg, then probably Salah and Willian either side
don't think willian will start. as I can see him starting second leg v atletico. can't see him starting 3 games in a row. I'd expect schurrle to figure. think he has anyway in quite a few games against the top pl sides this season.

Worryingly is that we lose while Arsenal win they will be just two points behind us. We shouldn't drop points in our last two games but will make it uncomfortable. Even more so if Everton keep winning as well.

I didn't realise the EPL had turned into Serie A Catenaccio style from the mid 90's!!! 5 0-0 draws!!

Schwarzer
Azpi - Ivanovic - Cahill - Cole
Ramires - Matic - Lampard
Schurrle - Eto'o - Salah

Doubt we'll risk Hazard, he might come on for a little cameo at the end.

Still a solid bloody side! Is Matic quickish? Otherwise our pace on the counter, if Chelsea attack & I'm assuming they will, may be the difference!
