Article suggests he was head of your recruitment and list management. In which case I am very very very very worried.. your recruiting has been crap and your list management woeful.

Hmmmm

This from Dan12 on the Brisbane board:

He [Kerr] hasn't got any significant pick ups through trades or FA except Zorko and Moloney IIRC, but serviceable types like McGuane, West, Lisle, Martin and Bewick were taken with our lower picks. Our list had a huge gap in the 23-26 group so he did well there.
Also fixed up our salary cap and got us the best deals possible last trade period. Drafting has been really solid.

So he got us from a very dire situation to a pretty decent one. He might be able to snare better players for you seeing as you're a more attractive destination than us.

Expect your club to draft a heap of players who are 185-195cm and have good endurance. You'll probably use up your lower picks on limited mature players like the ones we've gotten.

There were moments last year when it started to look as though Brisbane could perform okay in future. I don't know Brisbane's list that well... would be more impressed if names like Rich, Hanley and Leuenberger were on this list. The point was made, however, that it may be easier for him to recruit for EFC than Brisbane, given the difference in culture between Brisbane and Melbourne.

McGuane - Useless, West - Useless, Lisle - Under Par, Martin - Don't know, Bewick - Under Par.

Moloney can't get a game (not exactly sure why) and Zorko is a gem.

I'm still struggling to understand how that is good recruiting... so essentially Kerr is responsible for one good player - Zorko?

Willing to give him a go for sure, and very happy that he is at the club, obviously comes highly touted.. but still not convinced we can say Brisbane's recruiting has been that flash hot.

Well that's just plain incorrect. 16 games last year, has played all 5 so far this year.

Lol no. Would be getting games here right now with Bellchambers' injury

Seems as though Rines is failing to understand that Kerr is in a different role with different responsibilities. And we need to realise that footy is no different to any other industry - All industries tend to be incestuous and recycle people who have significant experience in the field, no matter how good or bad.
