Good first half with Jags' goal plus Alcaraz and Mcarthy defensive efforts key to us being in front.
Also loving the return of Barkley, his shots on goal are so clean and accurate.

Good clinical win, nothing special but basics were right for the first time this year. Probably Alcaraz's best game for us, Baines near his best and Barkley brought a real confidence to the side. Hopefully it gets us back on track.

Yeah, Jags back in form is massive.
Clean sheet as well, Barkley just makes the team look way more dynamic up front.
Coleman took a while to get into it but will be better off for the game.

I mentioned that to my missus (that loves him), you could tell that he probably had doubts with coming back from his thigh. But then he just knew he had the chance for his goal & was moving at full pace for it.
Lille on Thursday, they went down 2-1 at home in a shock loss to Guingamp so are probably keeping something in reserve for us. Hope that's the case cos it would mean mind games without even playing them yet
