With so much to cover in 7 episodes, it can either finish well or turn into a muddled pile of crap. I hope for the former but expect the later.

A lot of action this episode. I liked that drone thing. It was blindingly obvious they weren't going to get all that food without a hitch.

During Tom's conversation with the overlord, Scorch (S2), it was revealed that the invasion's true purpose was to use Earth's population (whether they're willing or not) to assemble a fighting force to combat an ancient enemy that drove the Espheni from own their galaxy long ago (This also caused the Espheni/Volm War).

A member of this ancient enemy race has arrived on Earth after rescuing Tom Mason from his damaged Beamer, and is appearing to him as his dead wife.

Prolly the best few eps in the whole series...realise they have to end so lets pick up the pace & spend some cash on CGI.

Fantastic. They wasted a whole bloody episode on Mason v Pope that got boring 3 seasons ago when they should be busy wrapping up the story.
