Was actually being genuine
Would have been far more cutting if I was being sarcastic
Whoever it is, I'm sure the AFL will insist on DNA testing to try to find another out clause for us.Any inside word/rumours on who Crows first f/s will be...or eligible soon to be candidates?
Are we sure this isnt Rucci looking for anything to prevent this from even happening?Whoever it is, I'm sure the AFL will insist on DNA testing to try to find another out clause for us.
Just quietly, this is one of the better father/son threads we have had...
Will go to CarltonZephaniah Trigg.
How about now?
Is he still a P plater?Don't worry, Spackler needs to practice the merge function...

It worked!Don't worry, Spackler needs to practice the merge function...
Yes I'm surprised the AFL didn't panic at the thought of us getting two F/S players and asked us to cough up a first rounder for each.
Don't worry, Spackler needs to practice the merge function...
Oh and Vader, you can add Rory to the list now as wellWith the birth today of Roo's first son, I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread containing a list of all our F/S eligible kids.
The following is a list of all players who have been good enough to represent the Adelaide Football Club on 100+ occasions. Below each of them are their male prodigy.
I'm sure there are many more that I am unaware of, so post in this thread and I will update the OP. If possible, include the year in which they will be eligible for drafting (assuming they're good enough). I did find a previous thread which gave draft years for these kids, but some of them may have changed due to the recent rule changes regarding draft age limits.
I haven't listed the SANFL eligible sires and I can't honestly be bothered doing so. We only have a few more years before their eligibility lapses anyway.
* - indicates that this player is eligible for a second club as well.

So Ben Jarman will be eligible for F/S this year, right? He's not been mentioned in any articles written so far on this years potential draftees.
I noticed they didn't add a section for if two clubs are both bidding on the same player.and the AFL on cue of us having a potential father/son are bringing in a new system where we'll more than likely have to pay overs just to get him as a father/son.
It wouldn't change it. The F/S team needs to 'buy' a pick to beat the highest bid. Bids below that don't really matter.I noticed they didn't add a section for if two clubs are both bidding on the same player.
So the Dogs bid their second round pick for Ben, and the Crows and Hawks both want him. How is that covered? It wouldn't change it. The F/S team needs to 'buy' a pick to beat the highest bid. Bids below that don't really matter.
F/S is a 2-way agreement. When a player is eligible for two clubs, they can choose which they go to. If Jarman were to choose the Hawks, there's nothing we can do.So the Dogs bid their second round pick for Ben, and the Crows and Hawks both want him. How is that covered?
