Port got Brett Ebert, even though he wasn't actually eligible, because nobody at the AFL actually bothered to check before they let it happen. Fremantle had Brett Peake.

The trouble with footballers is they go for all these cute little trophy wives.

The old way was if someone bids pick 1 then we just use our first available pick
