5 page and Paul Medhurst hasn't been mentioned
For those that remember, Medhurst burnt us a few times for Freo and probably contributed to us being happy to have him. Pretty sure he kicked 6 agst us in his first year at Freo in 2002 which they won, Yule he also kicked about 4 against us at etihad in about 05 (another win for them). A shame he didn't get to feature in a flag as he played well in 07 (particularly the prelim where he kicked 3) along with 08.

Got in on this one a bit late, there are some deadset pearlers amongst that lot, no point in me rehashing the Daicos / Didak snaps, the Rocca bombs, the McGuane / Manasse runs, but here's some that might not have gotten a run yet (apologies if they have):

1994 QF vs Eagles in Perth
Underdogs, four goals down coming into the last quarter on a hot day, but kicking with the breeze in the last.

1:34:06: The run starts with Rowdy Brown’s desperate lunge to keep the ball in and a ripper snap from 35 out.
1:38:56: All started with trademark Kerro desperation, how could you not love Kerro? Was honest as the day is long.
1:43:40, Brown desperation again, Tranquilli with the silky finish

1:55:30: Heady looked to have kicked the sealer with two minutes to go, and the Eagles went forward from the bounce, but the backline held them up with absolute desperation, Watson got it out to Christian, on to Buckley, over the top to McCartney, kicked truly from 50 out on the run to bring us back within a goal.

Still feel sick in the guts seeing Micky McGuane just not being able to hold on to that mark up forward with seconds to go and seeing that w***er Worsfold’s ‘sportsmanship’ after the siren, but you couldn’t help be proud of the effort the boys put in that day.

2007 2nd SF vs Eagles in Perth
Eagles again, any number of top goals in it, but the two best were probably Medhurst’s from 50 on the burst at around the 4:15 mark and Didak’s sensational baulk and longe range finish not long after.

Was a sensational game, we were underdogs, up against it all day, but just kept at it, loved it.

Dale Thomas vs Saints in the wet
Best goal never paid (that goal umpire had no sense of the occasion and got it wrong to boot…)
