Adelaide: Jacobs - want to see the kid do well

Brisbane: Brown - comes from spud country like me, great player before his body blew up

Carlton: Simpson - best drafting decision we've made in the past 12 years

Collingwood: Blair - has Wonthaggi's postcode tattooed on his butt

Essendon: Chappers - least filthied of the Filth

Fremantle: Ballantyne - injects a bit of passion into an increasingly lifeless game

Geelong: Taylor - zero to hero

Gold Coast: Ablett - how could you not? Best player of the past 20 years

GWS: is O'hAilpin still playing there? No? Whichever of the big forwards we throw the paper bag at this year, then

Hawthorn: Smith - never get tired of shouting RUN, FORREST, RUN at the TV whenever he gets the ball

Melbourne: Jones - in the land of peas, the one-hearted man is king

North: Daw - he'd be our best forward, if you're not going to play him, North, release him to us

Port: Schultz - like Taylor, done a hell of a lot from humble beginnings

Richmond: Maric - the man, the legend, the hair

Sydney: Franklin - Hawthorn's inside man for the long revenge plan of 2012

West Coast: Kennedy - always wanted the kid to do well because of the way he was dropped like a hot spud for Judd ... should've given them Fev instead

Bulldogs: Liberatore - must be tested for HGH pronto, though. How did he ever get to six foot?

i've noticed a bunch of people saying Fletcher is their favourite Essendon player.
has anyone here actually met him though?
his son was playing football and his game was before mine, and Dustin was sitting inside of the fence, so the match official walked over to him and asked him to go behind the fence, and Fletch proceeds to ask, "do you know who i am?"

absolute flog

Will do an update out of sheer boredom.

Adelaide: Sloane - went to school with him
Brisbane: Green - has looked alright this year
Carlton: Menzel - arrogant but great to watch
Collingwood: Elliot - brilliant player, seems quietly arrogant
Essendon: Hocking - underrated, just gets it done every week
Fremantle: Fyfe - on the strength of his 2013 Doig Medal speech
Geelong: Menzel - disappointed he's suffered so many injuries, was as good as his younger brother to watch
Gold Coast: Ablett - choosing anyone else would be a crime
Greater Western Sydney: Coniglio - good all round sportsman and seems like a nice bloke
Hawthorn: Hale - seems to have succeeded big time at the Hawks against the odds
Melbourne: Tyson - liked him at GWS and wanted him, but he's been great for Melbourne
North Melbourne: Swallow - likable character and plays good footy without showing off
Port Adelaide: Wines - wanted him in the 2012 draft and glad to see he's succeeding
Richmond: Lennon - going to be a great footballer. Hope he can play in a good side, he'll star.
St Kilda: Riewoldt - just a champion, shame he'll never get to play in a premiership team.
Sydney: Parker - will be seriously good as time goes on, absolute steal at #40
West Coast: Rosa - have some interest in him possibly coming to us, and is always good to watch
Western Bulldogs - Mitch Honeychurch - comes from out my way, ferocious attack on the footy/man and great skills, will be a star.

Do you live somewhere in Knox?

Ferntree Gully. I was in Year 7 with him at Upwey while he was in Year 12. Talked to him a couple of times despite the 5 year age difference. Ripping bloke.

Edit: Oh, and as for Honeychurch, he's a Vermont boy but I know a few friends of his girlfriend,

Sorry if I got some spelling wrong

Adelaide: Rory Sloane, mainly because he's in Dangerfield's shadow all the time. I'd prefer we had him to Dangerfield though, more consistent player. Special mention to Matt Jaensch, who has looked at times to be the only bloke out there having a crack for the Crows.

Brisbane: Don't mind how some of their new blokes go. Probably Nick Robertson at the moment, goes in hard, fair bit of talent.

Carlton: Troy Menzel's fast becoming one to watch for me. But my favourite would probably be Kade Simpson. Excellent skills, always has a crack, criminally underrated it would seem and the beard.

Collingwood: Jamie Elliot. I like the way he goes about it and the high marking for a little guy is awesome to watch.

Essendon: Not big on any of them at the moment, but I have to admit Jobe Watson is an incredible player.

Fremantle: Can't go past Matthew Pavlich, though Hayden Ballantyne is good to watch too.
Geelong: Jimmy Bartel for me. Just seems like a nice chap, plus can do it all onfield too.

Gold Coast: Have a bit of a soft spot for big Charlie Dixon actually. Hope for his sake that he gets his injury troubles behind him.

GWS: Probably Callan Ward. He's just really stepping up as an elite player of the game and you can't deny his tenacity. Devon Smith gets a mention too, very classy.

Hawthorn: Hmm, not many but both Luke Breust and Jack Gunston are excellent players.

Melbourne: I have to say Jeremy Howe's weekly nominations for Mark of the Year pretty much cement him as my favourite Demon. Don't mind how Dom Tyson's going either.

North Melbourne: Probably Drew Petrie. A real workhorse, generally pretty reliable and never seemed to get the publicity of a lot of the other big forwards in the game.

Port Adelaide: Ah, my mob. I've got a few favourites but Jay Schulz is my runaway. Serious man-love going on there. Justin Westhoff, Kane Mitchell and Dom Cassisi are up there too.

Richmond: I'd have to go with Ivan Maric here. Every time I've seen him play he singlehandedly lifts the Tigers. I think missing him is a big part of why Richmond have slipped so badly this year. With him on the park they're a far better team.

Sydney: Always had a great respect for Jarrad McVeigh. Just very classy and always seemed humble.

St Kilda: Dylan Roberton. I have no idea why.

West Coast: Not sure. I don't mind Andrew Gaff. Honestly haven't seen enough West Coast games recently to have a favourite.

Western Bulldogs: Ah, I'd have to go with Ryan Griffen, simply on account of his ability. That being said, Luke Dahlhaus is pretty good to watch too and Bob Murphy's on 360 a lot and seems like a nice bloke.

Adelaide: Tex
Brisbane: Brown so now I guess Aish
Carlton: Carrazzo
Collingwood: Beams
Essendon: Zach Merrett
Fremantle: Pav/Crowls/Ballantyne/Fyfe can't split them

Hawthorn: Hodge/Sewell
North Melbourne: Andrew Swallow
Melbourne: Nathan Jones
Port: Boak
Tigers: Conca
St. Kilda: Riewoldt
Sydney: Ted Richards
WCE: Le Cras
WB: Bob Murphy (#1)
