How about we all just do something like the coaches award instead of the brownlow, we all just vote in the top five players for the match.

Brownlow would be much easier.

Hopefully we could get someone not affiliated with any team to do this, the brownlow should only take five minutes per a round. Either that or all the managers just rotate for the first sixteen rounds and we just figure something out for the last six rounds.
