In round 7 the Furies made the long and dangerous journey to Baghdad to take on the Bumbling Bandits.

Wow! Sorry about the lateness, Wacky's fault again. In round eight the Furies hosted flogroy bullcrap and his somnolent Roys in the Match Of The Round.

What promised to be a torrid affair actually was but that was between fitzroybulldog and Wacky Tiger, the match itself was a bit of a fizzer with the Furies winning by 23 points to go 7-1 and clear on top of the ladder!!

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:

Righto lads so we have approached the halfway mark of the season, or close enough to it so its times to have a look at how we are faring.

Sitting pretty in 2nd spot on the ladder with a healthy percentage is a great place to be. The more early wins we can bank gets us closer to the top 4 and that all important double chance.

Posting wise we can refer to this kick-ass stats page that akkaps so kindly has been updating for us all season long. Rookie star Helen Wheels continues to lead the way topping the charts with old campaigner (yes the swear filter was in play there) This Is Anfield is following very closely behind. And by closely i mean really really closely, watch your back Hels.

Team wise we are having a super solid posting season 8 players averaging over 10 posts per match with a couple more in new recruits Tarkyn_24 and Gentlemen who are a beez dick from achieving that stat also. Probably the more impressive stats though are team based. We have topped the total team posts v opposition on 6 of the 9 matches we have played this season and to top that we have on 8 of the 9 matches had more team participants in match threads than the oppostion has. Its so good to see the numbers we have been getting so lets keep up the good work and make sure we get the job done on the Qooty Field.

We have a tough match this week onfield v the Royals so lets make sure we bounce back after last weeks narrow defeat.
