NFL Five Big Questions

I remember Don Lane's show. But even for me then, it's hard to follow the league. It wasn't til I made a friend who had foxtel, and he had no friends who liked American football, that I could even watch games regularly. Maybe late 90s-early 00s.

I chose the Panthers, because I go for Penrith.

My actual single favourite player, is Fred Taylor. Can't believe he joined the Patriots!

1. What american sport podcasts or tv shows do you enjoy?

Used to watch PTI when I had Foxtel, but will give a few of the podcasts mentioned in this thread a go.


3. How long have you been following American football?

Since about 1988-89 when the ABC started a weekly highlights package show & I was instantly hooked.

4. Why did you select your team?

Initially I floated around looking for a team close in colours to Essendon but could find none other than the Falcons who were too similar to the Saints for my liking, flirted with Cincy very briefly (thanks to my personal god for getting me out of that one) but then one night saw this &, for better or worse, that was that.




5. Do you think Russell Wilson and Cam Newton (mariota?)- will really become the next Brady Manning?

Probably will be someone no one sees coming.
