From that distance and angle he would actually be a decent chance.
Depends what side of the ground he's taking the shot from.

He said decent chance... not strong chance :D
I agree with with SJ. Cloke is actually a decent kick when he's forced to kick through the ball.

He is, but he's not necessarily a straight kick when he does that either

I went with Lockett, but I'd happily take Ablett senior as well.

From my childhood, I remember Roach and Beasley as very good kicks for goal.
I almost put roach in.

Could have added Taylor and moncrief too.

Beasley was a damn good kick. But he could shank at unusual times too.

Darren Jarman option? Best kick of the football I've ever seen.
Totally agree.

Was lucky enough to watch him for North Adelaide before he came over to Hawthorn.

Probably the best kick of a footy I've seen in field play and wasn't too shabby in front of goal either, just ask the Saints.

As for the OP; I'd probably lean slightly towards Dunstall but Lockett is obviously right up there as well.

As a few others have already mentioned, Lloyd was also a terrific set-shot.

Close second to a bloke from Port, the very aptly named Butcher.
Getting completely off-topic now but Butcher is one of the poster-boys for the talented junior who just can't get it done at senior level.

I remember him being touted as a #1 pick at one point and in his second senior game he kicked 6 goals straight from 6 kicks and then kicked 4 straight in his next game.

What the heck happened??
