Respected him for always doing his best for us. Wasn't the most skilled but held our defence together in an otherwise pretty bleak few years win/loss wise. All the best to him.

Always tried his best for us even in the tough times in the past. I thought he played pretty well as a forward for us and it was good thinking by Dimma at the time. A shame he had to retire this way and he couldn't play on longer with Brisbane.

Our first win VS Port Adelaide 2010. Just about decapitated himself in a contest, on hunches, and the ball comes back into the defensive 50. He bounds up, shoves the trainers out of the way and hits the contest with equal vigour and almost knocks out Brett Ebert.

Proud he played for our club.

That game against carlspoon, was it a mark a tackle or a smother? He saved us when they had us on the rack.

Tackle on Bootsma round 1 2013?

Rocked the flat top with pride for over a decade, ripping dude, hopefully he'll be taking the occasional specky, making dudes walk a bit taller, and some step a bit shorter in the QAFL for a few years yet. :thumbsu:

If there is a positive in the way he went out it is that he didn't tarnish his legacy by playing for Nofans next season.

Really loved Luke he gave his all & could not have done anymore. Can't asked more than that of a player......

Although he wasn't the most talented player you could not for one moment question is endeavour or commitment. Often played undersized as a defender in a shite side (not easy), and showed his aerial ability when swung forward for his last few seasons. Congrats on a great career Lukey :thumbsu:
