I think its a great idea, would make a big difference to a pitch and run ups being unsafe for the next days game.

Sunbury's first game not one they would have wanted with all the rain, apparently very wet. Word has it that they have a fair bowling line up!! That wont get you anywhere if your side cant bat.
Riddell getting done by Romsey, last time Riddell won a flag they lost a few players and went down hill quickly, lets hope that doesn't happen again.
Woodend Solid effort with some good players back, look out for these boys this year.
United look solid but having lost Grey surely will hurt.
Bacchus without O'lochlan will still be strong as he didn't have that much of an impact last year.
Rupo with John Lane in charge will struggle, but having john there as their leader should make some difference
Interesting year coming up.
Wallan Boys up and about with all the bowlers back, Keanan, Ghilchrist to add to Steve Bell and Hansen... Look Out..

Could be a very even season this year.
From all reports, Bachas have lost a couple more then just olachlan.
Woodend could be the team to beat after being runner up last year and adding johnstone and Matthews to there team. Wallan looking forward to the challenge of facing them this week to see where our list is at.
United chasing down 90 in 11 overs was a very good effort. No doubt they will be up there again. Losing Grey may hurt, but getting Powell back is good for them.
Romsey beating Riddel was a bit of a shock even though Riddel have lost a few. Will add a bit of confidence to the Romsey boys and the inclusion of cox will only help the young guys there.
Getting washed out against rupo was a bit dissapointing. The area around the pitch was discraceful. As soon as the rain hit, it just turned to mud.
I'm tipping a close and very interesting 2012/2013.
