Longer than that! I found it funny that they're so desperate to beat us they're clinging to a BBL cricket game which has about as much substance as a tv dinner.

My original post said 08 but I wasn't sure so moved it forward to 11 hahaha wonderful

Swansujelly I see you have Woodville there. Is that Woodville in Adelaide? Woodville West Torrens Eagles. I don't know why they just didn't change the name to the Woodville Eagles. Woodville West Torrens is a hell of a mouthful. Everyone just says Eagles it is easier. I remember when Woodville were 'The Peckers' hehe.
hence why i did not put torrens on there anywhere. I was a peckers/warriors guy, er kid.

I think the missus and Little are the ones driving this

The missus certainly but Little no way, if he did the club would of continued its appeal. But as things stand I don't see Hird being granted leave to appeal to the High Court because of the way each trial has gone so far and the point of law they are arguing.

He is off with the fairies with this appeal

No, Little could well be pulling the strings from behind the curtain. He is the litigation specialist, more litigation than probably any other Australian. It also means Essendon don't have to pay for it, clever.

Longmire mentioned Rampe playing on ball today as another big body with JPK/Parker etc. He was an on baller previous to the swans.
No doubt has the endurance and the big body ( 188cm , 88kg ) , could always move Reid to Rampes 3rd tall role and move Rampe somewhat into the middle
Sounds like what I suggested 14 months ago. Probably because it is.

A lot of posters have discussed the return of Johnson from injury to take Rampe's spot, and also the signing of Laidler in a similar position. I propose the following as a new role for Rampe:

A tagger. He has the size to play on big midfielders (very similar height and build to the league's best in Ryan Crowley), he has the endurance and played predominantly as a midfielder in the Sydney league, and he has the defensive accountability as shown by his 2013 efforts. He would have the ability to play an accountable role on a major ball winner while being able to use it himself in attack and force his opponent to stay close when the Swans have the ball. He would also not be completely at sea against the players like Martin who spend considerable time in the forward line, due to his ability to spoil.

Those fitness sticks he had hanging outta his mouth in the off season must have built up his stamina for a midfield role.
