Considering what Billings, Bontempelli, Kolojashnji, Aish have shown thus far, Boyd & Kelly must be absolute stars.

Haven't seen a lot of either of them play FWIW.

As Snake alluded to, Kelly has also been very good. I was having a look at stats for last years draftees and there's plenty that are playing at a high level. McDonald from North has had an outstanding season averaging 17 touches a game. Dunstan as well with a touch under 20. This draft could be the best since 2001.

That's what I was thinking, some quality kids have started their careers this year. :thumbsu:

Interesting also as Martin & Hogan were 'taken' from this lot as well, effectively.

MAJAK DAW!

OH. MY. GOODNESS.

AFL player Majak Daw charged with rape

North Melbourne AFL player Majak Daw has been charged with three counts of rape over a 2007 incident.

The Kangaroos on Tuesday confirmed Daw was facing charges, but said the 23-year-old would remain available for selection.

A police spokeswoman said the charges related to an incident at Altona North in 2007.

A statement from North Melbourne on Tuesday said the club would not take action against Daw.

"The club respects the integrity of the legal process and asks the right to privacy of all involved be respected," it said.

"North Melbourne will support Majak and he will remain available for selection at VFL and AFL level."

Wonder if North supporters will give him as much sympathy as they gave Milne

Slightly unrelated, but the comments in the main board thread for the EJ Whitten game about Abbey Holmes make me feel a little sick, I'm just picturing creepy old men salivating

So, I have nowhere else to put this, but my cat, Psuche, is the joke entry in my work's footy tipping comp. And she just won an AFL live pass to watch games live on an Android phone (worth $90), and a sherrin (worth about $150)! Thanks AFL!

Anthony Morabito to play his first match since 2010 this weekend, good luck to him.

Also just noticed it's Lyon vs Roos could be one ugly boring match...

"Medical specialist and Essendon senior coach Mark Thompson has declared players are at "no risk" of cancer from Essendons 2012supplement program"

Ok no, that's not a real quote but why wouldn't they just agree to the AFLPA testing then if there's no risk? It should only make them look better. I cannot believe how much leniency Essendon have received throughout this whole affair, I can't help but feel if this was us, the Bulldogs, North Melbourne, Melbourne or one of the SA clubs we would have been whacked, HARD, a looooong time ago.

Get this s**t over and done with in the next 3 months pls.

We've had some list cloggers over the years but none would top this. After 75 games in TEN YEARS Tom Williams is calling it quits effective immediately.

Is he the biggest list clogger of all time!?

Considering how many unfortunate injuries he copped and the Bulldogs stuck by him hoping he would over come them, i wouldn't call it a list clog. He was just very unlucky.

Yeah, that's pretty harsh, he was completely ravaged by injuries and did show some positive signs but just couldn't string together any matches to find some form. Who knows how he might have ended up if he wasn't so injury prone.

List cloggers are to me players that have a very limited ceiling that they cannot progress beyond. I think Williams had potential so I certainly wouldn't call him the biggest list clogger of all time.
