The more the AFL as an organisation continues to appoint those from outside of the Melbourne bubble, the more the competition can gain more of a national mindset.
While Vlad unashamedly pushed for maximum attendance in some feeble minded attempt of one-upsmanship against the other codes, Gill is looking at growing revenue, but also creating a fairer fixture.
Trust me, the more sustainable all 18 clubs can be - not just the top five to eight - the better.
