Time to get game 4 underway!
Nothing about our season has been predictable, least of all the goal kickers.
Before we start though, I've been asked to clarify the rules.
The main points are the use of the reserve player, and the default player should you fail to make a selection.
So, here we go....
1. Choose a player and a reserve player ( named in brackets after your first choice )
You stay alive in the game if your chosen player (or your Reserve player - see 2 and 3 below) kicks a goal.
2 .If you stay alive, then you are unable to use that same player again.
3. You name a Reserve player (in brackets) so that if your first pick is named Sub, then your Reserve player becomes your valid alternative, and if he kicks a goal you stay alive in the game.
The sole benefits of the reserve or bracketed player are
1. if your nominated player is a late withdrawal from the team
or
2. If your nominated player is named as the Sub.
In either of these cases the bracketed player becomes your chosen man for the game.
However, once the whistle has blown at the start of the match if your player gets subbed off, either after one minute or 110 minutes, you just get the nominated Collingwood sub in his place.
4. If you fail to submit a choice before the game starts - and you're already in the game - you're granted a default player.
The player listed as the Fullback pre-game, becomes your default chosen player.
There is no Reserve player in this case.
5. Any disputes, the Game Organiser (that's me) has the final say!
I hope that's clear for everyone.
Please remember we're not playing for a sheep station, so go easy on me.
And as I'm unable to watch the games at the moment any help with the weekly results would be appreciated.
Have fun and good luck.
