All of it, especially the parts where awesome things happen

Have been looking for this for awhile. It is from the movie Patton about US war hero General George S. Patton played by George C. Scott who won the best actor Oscar. The opening scence of the movie is a reinactment of a Pep Talk Patton gave his troops before a battle. I can't confirm whether it was before a battle in North Africa or before the Battle of the Buldge. The language in the speech had to be toned down to avoid an R rating. Scott refused to do it saying if its the opening scene it would overshadow the rest of his performance. The director said he would put it at the end to get Scott to do it.

Scott got the Oscar for best actor but refused to attend the Oscars, it won best picture, best director, best origial screenplay by Francis Ford Coppola and 3 technical awards for a total of 7 Oscars.

The amateur "film critic" after the scene gives some good info about the film and speech. Its the only video that I found that has the speech in full.

Underated Aussie comedy Gettin' Square from 2004 about crims on the Gold Coast. David Wenham plays a recovering heroin addict who has to give evidence against a friend at the Crime Commission hearing. He does everything he can to not give evidence and perjure himself. Great performance and scene.
