What do you think is the greatest James Bond Theme?
For me it's a tie between this:

For Your Eyes Only
So many classics..
Probably either Diamonds Are Forever or Goldfinger.
(although I think this says more about my musical preferences than the relative merits of the Bond themes...)
Goldfinger narrowly over Live and Let Die. For Your Eyes Only comes in as my third pick.
Live and let die.
It's by a beatle after all.
You Only Live Twice (good enough for Robbie Williams to plunder)
Live and Let Die (great booming performance at the Academy Awards)
You only live twice, for me.
There's been some great ones and some recent shockers.
Little known fact: Muse were asked to do the last theme song, but could not fit it into their scheduling.
Live and Let Die. Amazing song.
Thank god they didn't It would be criminal if they did.
You Only Live Twice [awesome] just ahead of Live And Let Die
First Bond movie I ever saw as a kid, got my first glimpse of tits in a movie. Will always hold a special place in my heart as a result.
A-Ha The living daylights
Duran Duran A view to a kill
36 now so no wonder i liked them as a kid
I like THE SPY WHO LOVED ME open title sequence but onto music videos
i like the DURAN DURAN one A VIEW TO A KILL thats a good music video same as Chris cornells music video YOU KNOW MY NAME , i totally hated the Quantum of solace one and also i have started a thread on here called WHO SHOULD SING THE NEXT BOND THEME and i have said bring in the old school rockers and i also said bring in someone like Alice cooper or Kiss or maybe AC/DC at least people might like it .
GoldenEye - Words by Bono and the Edge
Ooooooohh, Shirley! Love 'em both along with . .
From Russia With Love - Matt Monro
Thunderball - Tom Jones
Alice Cooper's Man With The Golden Gun was rejected in favour of Lulu's version.
Yes. I concur.
Has to be by the most successful singer/musician/songwriter of all time. Live and Let Die by Sir James Paul McCartney
Thunderball and Casino Royale for me.
1. Tom Jones - Thunderball
2. Nancy Sinatra - You Only Live Twice
3. Shirley Bassey - Goldfinger
There is an alternate version of You Only Live Twice where the guitars are more prominent, which I think is better than the version most people are familiar with.
+1 for a View To Kill
1. Live and Let Die
2. The Spy Who Loved Me
