Played s**t tonight but that's what happens to guys who have only played in their natural position in 4 games, still learning the trade even if he is now in his mid 20's. Hardwick ruined his career.

******* stupid post.

He was injured for most of the first three years and the move to the backline was mainly to prevent opposition defenders from smashing his shoulders at every contest.

We all hope he will, but he will never be a good player for us, we ruined him as a footballer. He should sue us.
What a load of s**t. The fact that he did a shoulder at a drop of hat for nearly 3 years might have something to do with it. The fact that we put in the backline to develop his competitiveness and protect his shoulders might have something to do with this.

Actually thought he was good. Much better than Hampson and Vickery. Really has a go in the ruck and around the ground. Won a few clearances of his own
Lifted in the last. Was quiet most of the night. Had a crack though at least unlike some pea hearts. All players have bad games but you can tolerate it if they have a crack.

He had a crack in the last. One of the first picked for mine. He has a dip, can't say hat for everyone.

Yes I can, hat, hat, hat & more hat :D;)........Hats all folks:oops:

Just on this Voss made a good point this morning. He said that 'effort' is a watch word by commentators and coaches and is used a minimum standard, but it should be with reference to what? Your previous efforts? Or the best in the comp? This is what I want to hear from a midfield coach.

When this guy competes he can really influence a game. Noticed he laid tackles and really chased and harassed the opposition last night. Didn't get big stats but kept himself in the game with the 1%s.
Also his kicking breaks zones - the kick to the goal square with Jack marking went over all the lions defenders heads.
And his second efforts in the ruck have been good for centre clearances.

Keep up the good work Big Bad Benny G!

Contested marking has improved out of sight.
Was bitterly disappointing against Collingwood, but he battled back last night and played well.

The marking has always been good from him (one of his major strengths as a junior), but now he's working to get into more contests and hit them harder.
