Tougher draw this year !

Doubles against Fremantle, Sydney and Geelong will be tougher, Port and Gold Coast won't be pushovers. Bit of a shame to not get double ups on teams in Melbourne but you can't get them all.

Only one trip to Perth this season. 2 to Queensland and Adelaide.

It'll always be tougher once we get out of the bottom six into the middle six. Good to see Freo coming east. Does that leave anyone else we haven't hosted, after knocking off Hawthorn and Brisbane last year?

Geelong (on my birthday), Port and Richmond at Manuka should see an increase in average crowds there

Our toughest draw yet, reflective of our ladder position, if we make the finals we'll have earned it.

Looks good. Fairly happy with the teams we are playing.
But what a load of garbage. 1 mcg game and 1 night game.

Based on this years fixture I felt next year finals had to be the minimum.
Maybe that's still the case, but just winning 12 this year will be an achievement on that draw.

I know this is negative, but right now I don't see us making finals next year.

The price we pay for moving up the ladder - and last year the Suns finished bottom 4 and we play them twice.

And we're always going to play the swans twice regardless of where they finish on the ladder.

A tough draw but if we can maintain a healthy squad, I'm still confident of finals next year.

All bar 2 of our spotless games are in that 4.30ish timeslot. Hopefully that will help with crowd numbers as it gives the families a chance to get kids sports done in the mornings, and free for the footy in the arvo.

Finally, after all this time, we have Freo at home. Bout time we showed them what it's like for once.

We could always ask the church to move Easter for us. It was originally worked out on the Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox - by my reckoning that makes it sometime in late September early October in the southern hemisphere - do it that way, it might only effect a home final.

100% agree with this one, if we get 13 wins next year and make finals it's a huge improvement
