My home for 40 years , now I'm in the West, but Melbourne is a special city. I love it. Cold or not.just moved to Melbz from Brisbane, really feeling it.

If it's not the weather it will be something else
I miss the weather and my mates but yeah, not much ever happening up there really. Can't wait for the summer here, we've seen a couple of rad beaches already.

The temp of the water isn't like QLD either. It's like Melbourne most of the year freezing

Next time you have wind at night, try doing some sit-ups or twisting and stretching. Usually gets your guts going and clears it out
I've been to Melbourne three times - once in summer, once in winter and once in spring. In summer it was warm to hot, mostly sunny with some rain. In winter it was cold and sunny, and in spring it was warm to hot, and sunny.

Melbourne has had MUCH less rain than Sydney over the last 2 years. This year Melbourne has had 338mm while Sydney has over 3x as much with 1079 mm. Similar story in 2014.
The weather stereotype needs to die.

In terms of total rainfall, this is always the case, Sydney has a fair bit more.
Melbourne has more rainy days though.

Yeah, that's what pisses me off. Sydney gets nice soaking rain while Melbourne gets bupkas.
