Have the new fan oriented match day initiatives worked?

Hi guys, for a University news report writing assignment I have decided to look at the impact the AFL's new fan oriented match day incentives (Cheaper food, Kick to Kick on the ground afterward, novelty things such as fireworks and mascots) have had on the overall experience of going to the footy. I know it is early on but after a few rounds it would be good to gauge how people have viewed and responded to these changes.

Yeah I feel I am getting the vibe that the more traditional based initiatives are favoured over some of the more modern stuff borrowed from other codes and sports.

Both were good. Definitely more pressure on the ground after the Lions walked off though, really didn't want to knock any kiddies or grandparents on the bonce.
