Hawthorn fans are not one entity believe it or not, pretty sure most Hawks fans don't have nightmares about the day McGlynn left, but okay. Paul Puopolo is all we need him to be in his role, considering how important accurate kicking is to our team that makes him more important for us than McGlynn who cannot kick to a lead to save his life and took too many potshots from poor positions, forgive us.

If we had kept him he'd be in our 22 because we'd never need Puopolo though. He's not a bad player at all and has gotten better, still iffy with the clangers and the hero kicks from what I see though.

He is not an A Grader but is having a great year and easily justifies being called a Very good player on what he has produced this year. Would take Puoppolo's place in your starting 22 in a heartbeat.

Plus we have won a lot of games in a row now and in our winning streak we have beaten all the contenders so it isn't like we have only beaten the easy beats of the competition in our winning streak.

going to be an interesting game , think people saying sydney are going to win very easily are delusional, fair enough they didn't kick straight in the first quarter last time but hawks went down by 19 points and were leading into the last without cyril after half time, gibson with that pectoral but played on and players such as spangher who has taken over cheney , ceglar over hale and mitchell and hodge are also fairly handy, wish it was this weekend

Unless they try their faux tough man approach again as they did with the Kangas
First use of the ball and fast, direct F50 entries with Franklin, Reid, Goodes and especially Tippett up front will create the potential for frustration not to mention goal scoring.

If they stick to winning the hard ball out of the middle courtesy of a ruck advantage, use their superior kicking skills to advantage it will go a long way to setting up the win. If they get lost in trying the physical approach, it could slip away even faster than the Kangas kicked on
