To make matters worse, Special Patrol Group had a starter score zero points (Jurrell Casey). scaryness (2-0, 323.11 points) moves into first place and Special Patrol Group (1-1, 265.00 points) winds up in fourth place.

They got a lift from Devonta Freeman, who led the team with 33.89 points and Blake Bortles who had 24.22. Going streaking usually draws attention to yourself, but not in positive way. Not in this case. Since starting their win streak in Week 3, Long Reef Riders has moved from 10th place to second. They also have the fourth-highest scoring output in the league at 133.74 points per matchup. Satisfactories got zero points from Jarvis Jenkins, which might have made the difference in the outcome. Satisfactories goes to 3-2 and falls to sixth place. Long Reef Riders has now knocked over Brokens East Beasts (125.86 to 125.65) and Special Patrol Group (163.53 to 91.03).

  • Devonta Freeman didn't have the best score of the week, but there ain't no shame in his game. He had 33.89 points, the second-highest RB score of the week and the third-highest RB score in the league this season.
  • With 8.28 points, Dwight Lowery, who Long Reef Riders picked up this week, beat his 4.75-point projection by 74.3%.
  • Quarterbacks get the blame when the team loses and the glory when the team wins. With 24.22 points, Blake Bortles had the third-highest score of any QB in the league this week and earned his praise.
  • Willie Snead scored 18.69 points, the ninth-highest WR score in the league this week.
  • The 17.21 points were a season-high for Lavonte David. The score beat his 11.92-point projection by 44.4%, which also was a season-high.

  • Losing is a proven way not to win a game. For a more successful season, try not losing.
  • The 6.56 points scored by Eddie Lacy fell short of his 16.53-point projection, the fourth straight game where that has happened.
  • C.J. Mosley was last on the team in scoring with 1.05 points, 10.0% of his projected 10.49, which is his lowest percentage of the season.
  • A heated blanket would be a great gift for Matthew Stafford during this cold streak. He scored below his projection in three straight games after scoring 7.71 points against a projected 15.55 this week.
  • Long Reef Riders had a better day at the QB position, topping Satisfactories 24.22 - 7.71.

JeffDunne - adjust your team immediately by dropping players from outside the NFC and AFC South.

This needs to be done before Sunday else I'll remove them for you.
 
Everyone wondered how balanced this league concept might be, citing especially how weak the South NFL divisions were.

But at the halfway point of the season, in the Homer League, the amount of wins per division are...
