Da'esh have outlived their usefulness for Assad.

But just coming into their usefulness for the US.

We were supplying close air support for oil thieves, ISIL were the ground support. Armed and supplied by us. I think McCain can no longer deny the shadow gov Kennedy tried dismantling with Russian help.

They were stealing pissful amounts of oil. That theory simply doesn't add up.

They were also not armed by "us".

The CIA certainly was/is arming Islamist "rebels" but not Da'esh.

Where are their TOW missiles?

The sad reality iis you can not have any conversation with any fool who denies who Al queda are, who funded them, why they were formed and what their role is. It's a matter of public record. If you try and argue this point you are no better than a flat earther.

That person is you.

In Syria Al-Qaeda is Jabhat Al Nusra (who are currently feeling the wrath of Vladimir Putin)

Da'esh split very violently with Al-Qaeda, and fought a very serious campaign against them in 2014.

Please try and catch up if you are going to talk about world events on threads I post on.

You also can't have discussions with people who deny that ISIS are made up of jihadists recruited from places like Brittan by British intelligence services, and the like, who first were sent to Libya and fought along side our special forces with NATO aircover until Ghaddaffi was dead. Then they were moved into Syria from Turkey and Iraq. Again by NATO. It is a matter of public record and there's some really profound congressional hearings going now backing this up.

If you try and pretend or deny this fact, you an idiot and whatever it is you think you're doing and saying is quite sick. Because you are part of problem. The problem affects every single one of us and our children.

The Libyans became other groups - mainly in the south and west.

You have about 60 per cent of a clue and keep forgetting that ISIS has been around since 2003.

You can't have a conversation with someone who has an imaginary enemy. It's not rational, they should be in a psych ward. If they're giving kids with imaginary friends pills for it, then they should be giving all these idiots who have an imaginary enemey called ISIS strong pills.

The person subposting calls someone else nuts.

Wow.

Let's actually discuss this.

Using sources, you tell me when Al Qaeda (hint, get the spelling right) was formed. And by who.

Not Da'esh.

Al Qaeda.

Lol yeh right they aren't or weren't arming them.
Directly or indirectly. They knew.

For example they knew the "moderates" they were training and arming weren't and never will be anything except islamosfascict terrorist mercs.
The same kind used in Libya.
They knew who they were training they knew the risks.
They knew what would happen with the weapons they supplied them with.

To actually believe the US was not funding arming and training the terrorists would be to ignore the US' history of doing such things.

Jesus not you too.

Da'esh and the "rebels" the US supported are two very different beasts.

Indeed, the most savage fighting of the whole war has between Da'esh and the US supported "rebels".

Sure they were.
Because the media told you so. And as we know, our side doesn't partake in propaganda wars and psy-ops. Especially against it's own people.
Oh no.

No, because with the advent of stuff like Twitter and WhatsApp and Telegram you can watch what is happening on the ground and talk to people who are there.

So the CIA agents running out there are on Twitter and whatsapp giving the world updates?
Or are you being told one sides perspective?
So often we have heard from some poor bloke or young girl from within some country being targeted for regime change by the Americans for it to only later be revealed that they were paid off and it was all bullshit.
There's even one guy running some blog or what not regarding Syria giving updates...from the comfort of his home in the UK. All he is is an anti Assad activist.
Just another asset cultivated and paid by western/American intelligence.

So how do you know what you are seeing on these social media apps is 100% the bare naked truth?

Some of the Snowden leaks revealed how the CIA NSA and other intelligence and law enforcement infiltrate groups and peoples lives with sophisticated software that allows them to create complete online profiles of non-existent people, that have full backgrounds and histories etc so even if you go digging you'll see what appears to be someone's real life.
There's even software that creates what appears to be a real person sitting in front of a webcam but is actually an advanced and sophisticated computer program. It's how they catch pedos on those video chat sites in some cases.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

So I'll ask again, how do you know what you are being told via those apps is the truth?

Aside from the bombs and bullets flying over there, the rest of the world is engaged in an information war on Syria and other global issues/conflicts.

Information is power.

Propaganda is as big a weapon as the bullets and bombs tanks and planes over in Syria.

Of course on the flip side maybe the shady s**t we know about like that above and how the CIA likes to remove governments with fake revolutions it starts and funds with NGO's especially George Sorros owned NGO's, is also false and part of the propaganda war.

Like the X Files used to tell us, trust no one. Maybe that really is true?

A journalist notes the sources he and others use to track the situation on the ground in Syria, and you respond with X Files? Seriously?
What are your sources?

Of course you have to be aware that everything has a side and a spin on it. So when I'm watching videos the YPG make of themselves fighting Da'esh, you know it has a very particular spin on it. Doesn't mean it isn't informative and interesting.

The Syrian War is the first to be effectively "live streamed". When the Turks show down the Russian jet, it was on Twitter first. There were vids of it going down, and even IDs of the plane make, before any announcement.

I'm aware I went a bit off topic there, but really..you actually are that clueless that you don't know there's a propaganda and psy-ops war running parallel to the actual combat/proxy war going on on the ground?

What about the Gulf War? That was live on tv.

There is always obfuscation in any conflict.
Now what are your sources? Are you able to actually respond without personal insults (which is generally a mask to hide ignorance)?

"Live" in that we were shown what the channels were allowed to show us. They didn't show us the Highway of Death.

Syria is different - you can watch all sides.
