Most people start in paint, so it would definitely be perfect for beginners, and might attract a few new faces. Great idea if you have the time.

This is kinda the point, sverik was saying yesterday he didn't know where to start. I'm just trying to make it easier for newbies

An introductory "so you have no idea where to start?" guide would actually be really beneficial for people who have stumbled across this forum and are interested in making their own stuff, but have never even heard of photoshop or any other program than paint
