Hypothetical Question re Finals Qualification

Player A plays first 10 games for his TAC Cup team. Gets injured. Out of action 2 weeks. Unable to break back into the TAC team, he returns to his local Under 18 team. Plays remainder of season with them (6 games). Come finals he is ineligible to play with his local Under 18 team as league rules state 10 or more games with TAC make you ineligible.
Is this fair? Do all local leagues have this rule?

That rule can be changed within the by-laws of your local league. The Wimmera Football League chose to do this 2-3 years ago because they decided that penalising kids for playing a higher standard of football defeated the whole purpose of what footy is about!! The player MUST play 3 games with the side to qualify (within our rules), the TAC games count as senior games.
