Don't know if this has been posted anywhere??

I long for the day that an article talking about Ballas does not refer to him as 'pesky' etc but simply as a 'gifted footballer'. Being a pain is about 1% of what he does, the other 99% is class, effort, determination & guts.

Anyway Ballas, Freo footy fans adore you!

Is this article suggesting at the end that the Brownlow is within his reach? That would be the greatest thing to happen to Bigfooty ever.

"The Dockers’ healthy percentage should receive a huge boost over the next month with matches against bottom-six sides GWS, St Kilda and Carlton. A tough fortnight follows, where their top-four credentials will be put to the test against the Cats in Geelong and the Hawks at home. Last year’s qualifying final aside, the Dockers haven’t won at Geelong since 2005 and haven’t beaten the Hawks anywhere since 2010, so losses to both of those teams could dent their percentage and cost them the double chance."

Obviously is was a well researched article, I now have no doubt we will not make the top 4.

That's correct though, because of the first part.

It doesn't mean much though because we've only played there 4 times since 2005 and three of those time we were a bottom 8 team while Geelong were in their prime years of 2007-09. The other loss was last year when we were missing 4 of our top 6 players.
