I think you need to take an art class. Orat least "Scott Briggs" does. Orange is red and yellow mixed. If black and yellow mixed, it makes an ugly browny mustard colour...

The Aviators realise that the majority of the readers that would have read that statement would be Australian and as such decided to make it in their language rather than American. The same goes for this statement.
