I'll check with the Admins to see what the policy on this is. However, I will leave this thread alone for now.

EDIT: You should also be aware that there are hefty penalties (minimum 30 day ban) for quoting a picture of another board member. I'll probably let it slide if it's only quoted on this thread - but if photos from this thread appear anywhere else then you can expect a lengthy vacation.

vader, i'm what's known as a "forum professional," i'm well aware of what can and cannot be seen on the internet. and when i'm using the internet. eg. i don't have pants on. irl, not in the photo. obviously i'm wearing pants in the photo. dangerfield may not be.

it's treating me good dandy! it was here when i arrived, kevin and i did the customary "flip" on my first day and almost threw up. needless to say it's stayed sunny side down.

I have no problems with the photo you posted. It certainly doesn't violate any of the pornography rules or anything like that.

My concerns are related to privacy issues. We have a large number of teenage members on our board who don't necessarily think about the implications of their actions before doing them.

I don't want to be forced to hand out a bunch of infractions to people who had nothing but good intentions when they hit the "Submit Reply" button.

Word from the Admins is as follows... It's OK for you to post photos of yourself, but quoting posts containing photos of other board members is a big no-no. Quoting them without the subject's permission will lead to a 3 month vacation from the board.

My previous comments advising against posting pictures of yourself on the internet remain, but it's just advice. I won't stop you if you wish to proceed.
