It happens when the pitch has fallen apart within three days and you have guys like Elgar bowling in the first ten overs. They are crap, because quite simply they are, at least have even bounce, people don't generally complain about soft, seaming English or alternative Sri Lankan pitches. But every nation doctors pitches, it's just not appealing to have poor wickets.
