If he doesn't play footy again, he could probably work in the medical team or in medical science/bio mechanics. He would be a wealth of knowledge after all this time.

Like I said in the other thread, unfortunately his career for Freo is over. The fact is that he is very unlikely to ever get through a whole season of AFL and only could if he was managed.

Good news from Doc Larkins

Zac Clarke, Fremantle (left knee)
He hurt his 'good knee' because he had a previous significant posterior cruciate ligament injury on his right knee and multiple surgeries on it. He's also had arthroscopes on his left knee and if he's stirred up his previous cartilage troubles then he's likely to miss this week.

Spoke to him last night at the airport and he was in good spirits and pretty condifent there was nothing there.

RTB will probably give some answers in his 6PR interview tonight anyway.

Unlikely doesn't mean fact. Did u read the article?

Eagles board says that Clarke and Johnson went in for scans. Not sure if #^%$@

Have you looked at the facts? Whens the last time he played a whole season of AFL? When is he returning to training?

The fact remains he only had one good season of AFL and the probability of he remaining with the club hinges on him dominating the WAFL.

Well why are the experts (not us) persisting then? Shits and giggles? No doubt it's on the precipice but they haven't given up. Returning to training? That's kinda what the article is about. Big decisions over the next few weeks

Because (1) He has the talent (2) His attitude has being 1st class, there always will be a line when you have to a cut a player.

If he didn't have the injury before pre season and was playing WAFL right now no doubt Freo would have seriously thought of resigning him. The odds are against him unfortunately to impress, unless we have massive injuries.

End of day football is a business and the return of investment so far hasn't yielded much.

So even though they know it's over they're just keeping him on because he's a once talented, good bloke. Wish they kept Keplar as well then

...

He did enough last season to suggest he could go injury free, so at the time the risk was worth it. Given he is on a low salary, how he gone about it and potential talent to cut him off the list would have been pretty cruel.

So why, if Freo are so compassionate, would we cut him if there is possibility of him playing, even if that means him being managed through the season.
The article says that there is still hope and the dudes still 23. We have also seen that, when up and about, Mora still has what it takes.

Mora is simply a year by year prospect at this stage, come the end of the year he will be judged accordingly on how his done and baring a major set back I think he will be give another year but a fair bit needs to go right for that to happen.

Kep was great. What more can we say, wish he was still on the list.

Mora is an inspiration to his team mates, but while the decision is his to retired, the club continue to stand on high ground about rewarding great effort.

The team rally around him and relish the great opportunities they still have, that Mora would have killed for, and subsequently move on to beat Perth and flog Geelong.

According to Lachy Reid two dockers did but he didn't elaborate on the 2nd.
Yeah, reported on 6pr - Johnson and Clarke went for scans. Johnson said it was just precautionary - pulled up a bit sore and went to get it checked out. Hopefully nothing on both counts.
