Is Brisbane's 2015 midfield one of the greatest we've seen?

Just have a look at it. It looks exceptional on paper and if it clicks in reality, this midfield will tear teams apart. You have the pure class of Dayne Beams, the devastating pace of Christensen and Zorko, the highly underrated accumulator Rockliffe, the lethal kicking of Daniel Rich, the bash and crash toughness of the fearless Mitch Robinson and of course the highly talented Jack Redden.

If this midfield synchronizes quickly, every team in the league is at risk of being taken apart on the field and the Lions will become a premiership threat. Most premiership teams are built on great midfields, look at the 2000's alone. Brisbane had a star studded midfield for 01, 02, 03 flags. Port had one in 04. The Swans in 05. The Eagles had one of the greatest midfield units ever seen in 06. Again, Geelong in 07 and 09, Collingwood in 2010 and again Geelong in 2011. Sydney of 2012 also had a great midfield.
