I can imagine it now.

Hayne in at RB...misses a blocking assignment on his QB's blindside...Kaepernick gets blown up and suffers a serious injury.

SF's season is toast & Hayne is out the door on Monday...

Can see him doing good work at KR/PR though!!
Lol and Kaeps never been sacked before? An RB has never missed a block before.

Get out; think about what you type before you type it. That came across as pure irrational hate.

I still don't even think he'll make the 53.

I love how steadfast you are brother.. I'll whack a G on the table if you went a wager?? Serious proposition!

Who would you be giving the p/k returns to? Ellington? If there was another quality running back to take possessions from Bush I could almost see Hayne in a bit of trouble as I think Bush would probably do it.

See this is what I love about what Hayne has caused. His technique of running too upright,I had no idea about this flaw until now.

You could see in a couple of his runs on the weekend two defenders just drove him backwards due to him being to vertical.

I reckon this can be rectified.Learn the correct technique and trust the helmet and pads.
James Tedesco from the Tigers had to change his vertical running style to a lower one a-la the NFL style to protect his knees.

Running styles can be taught quite easily

If the 49ers view Hayne as their #1 returner, why wasn't he returning punts in the first half last week?

That's the only question I'd have with your logic.

Who knows.. Pre season has been strange, 9ers have had a shocker.

Most players who are primarily there for special teams(aside from kickers, punters and long snappers) play another position, or can in an emergency. It varies though. Some teams carry kick-off specialists. The 49ers had Kassim Osgood on the roster for the past few seasons purely as a gunner on special teams. He was nominally a WR, but was never going to play a snap there.
Mel Gray for the Lions or Vai Sikahima for the Eagles?

Yeah, I'm that old!!!

1 things for certain.. Haynes enjoying the WADA free environment of the NFL, he looks ALOT bigger through his biceps and shoulders.

Sounds pretty implausible.

Seriously though, Hayne with Kaepernick creates the possibility of running the triple option (where Hayne is the third option and gets some open field running), or even a quadruple option with the last option being Hayne up pitching to the wideout or something.

It's ambitious, but with an OL like that one and a mobile QB, they might need to try something different to move the ball.
Maybe not a quadruple option as that is a little too risky but I expect them to try and find a way to use his skills he developed in the NRL to see if they can work in the NFL. It would be stupid not to.

In Ultimate team:

86OVR

SPD 89
ELUS 83
BCV 88
ACC 95
TRCK 87

So he isnt in the game but has better MUT rating then Eddie Lacy, Frank Gore, Arian Foster, Shawn McCoy and CJ Anderson.

Or is it one of the pre-season ones like how they gave Michael Sam a 90OVR last season the week before he was cut?

No idea, but I think he got ripped off on the BCV and ELUS and has been overrated on SPD.
