Junior Finals

I've noticed on the website that all Division 1 Semi-Finals will be split over two weekends instead of just holding it over one weekend.

For Example;
Semi Final 1 - Sunday, 26th July
Semi Final 2 - Sunday, 3rd August

Preliminary Final - Sunday, 3rd August

Grand Final - Sunday, 10th August

How is this going to work if it's a three week finals series?

Normally wouldn't the loser from Semi Final 1 and the winner from Semi Final 2 play off in the Preliminary Final for a Grand Final spot. How are they going to do that if the Semi Final 2 and the Preliminary Final are being played on the same day?

Given the way the EDFL has changed the fixturing this year and as part of the grading process they may be looking to ensure closer finals games with the loser of Semi 1 having to back up straight after to a rested winner from the 3rd and 4th place final!

Hillside u14 div 1 had the bye R14, then don't play this weekend as finished 1st. Will be 3 weeks between last game and 1st final.

Agree with this. Should not have 5 teams in any Division 1
