"There is no better time to come onto the Essendon Football Club than now... when it probably doesn't get anymore rock bottom than this" was a quote that stuck with me.

Very impressed with the things he said, his demeanour and the fact that he's under no illusions about how difficult a task it is that he's undertaken.

I'm warming to this very, very quickly now. I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees.
