Think he deserves his own thread.

Pressure is starting to mount and articles are disputing all his excuses with facts now.

Still 8 more post match press conferences to go as well.

On his fixture congestion excuse
But Andy Carroll, for instance, has started only one of the last six league matches and Jordan Henderson has completed only two of the last 10. Grumbling about the squad being overstretched sounds hollow when the manager regularly chooses to park players for whom he paid over £50m on the bench.

Nor is the quibble over fixture congestion convincing. While it is true that Liverpool have fielded strong sides as they advanced in both domestic knockout tournaments – winning the Carling Cup and set to compete in the semi-finals of the FA Cup – their schedule has been eased by not competing in Europe for the first time since 1999.

He added: "They (the players) are as fit as anybody and probably fitter than most," said the boss. "We've had more success in cups than in the league, but the performances have probably been better in the league than they have in the cups.

That was dalglishs comment pre wigan last week how things can change to

"I think we looked a wee bit tired," he said. "We had a lot of possession in the game but we gave away the ball quite a lot in vital positions. It's not because they can't play, it's because of tiredness

this on saturday funny
Dalglish is full of s**t been sick of his stupid not funny comments/interviews since august up until the old trafford suarez-evra encounter. We were a mess when hodgson was manager we were s**t and he had no MONEY Kenny has gone and blown 100 + and were still s**t. Not feelling kenny and his 'jokes' anymore i hope hes out and gone by end of season.....

the man is delirious and dangerous.

however, jose mourinho couldnt guide that team to champions league. it's suarez and gerrard, if those two are playing liverpool generally perform better. could probably throw agger, skrtel and johnson in as their better players, but the guys like carroll, downing, adam and henderson bring the team down so much it's ridiculous. a few good kids though.

he sure is. his excuses are getting more and more ridiculous (and amusing too)

the 'playing too many games a week' excuse is simply laughable. legend of the club yes, but it always amazes me how is seems to be untouchable now regardless of the results on the pitch and money wasted on over priced signings etc

You forgot Lucas, who is easily in our three most important players (if not our most important).

There are numerous ordinary players, but there are also some pretty good ones to work around. A base of Reina (admittedly not as good this season, but still very solid), Enrique, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson, Lucas, Gerrard and Suarez is not that bad. Kelly is a good young player and I still think Henderson in time will be a good player. Bellamy is a useful squad player as well. Clearly, the problems with the squad lie in attack, where only Gerrard (who is getting on but is still quality) and Suarez are up to standard. But from Lucas backwards, it's a fairly solid unit.

I still have 100% faith in the King and believe in his regime, just hope the owners know what they are doing...

He's made excuses all season to be honest. After the Bolton debacle we saw him really berate the players but aside from that, it's been bad luck, poor finishing and others. Add tiredness to that list now. Don't wanna see him making excuses.

C'mon Kenny sort it out.

Correct, as good as Suarez can be as a footballer, he takes on average something like 15 shots per goal. Only scored 7 times this season, carrol only 3. Tommy vermaelen has 5 for example.

Someone who can consistently finish in front of goal is desperately needed.

Don't agree with most of that. Suarez normally creates a chance on his own by beating a couple of blokes just to get to a half decent position, or he's creating all our chances for other people who bottle it

We don't put him in good positions where he can tap one in or something, which is something Arsenal does brilliantly for RVP

The problem is the useless rubbish we have out wide and around Suarez, they do nothing

Don't be silly, we aren't going to sell them Vermaelen

We spent the summer trying to build a team around Carroll when we should have been building around Suarez.
Downing was signed to provide crosses for Carroll wasn't he?

There's been many times this season Carroll has subbed on for Downing, so it doesn't make sense.

Am not sure what parts you don't agree with mate, I simply stated factual figures. The 1 in 15 figure for Suarez I obtained fom here
