Every year there is a bolter and rapidly improves on previous year and I honestly think it can be us if we have a fair run with injuries, further development in the kids and a few good pick ups. I see Geelong as the biggest slider and I think 2015 will be Hawthorn and Sydney's last year as the top 2 teams.

Interesting....I'll be happy with 5 to 8 for us, which I expect. West Coast should be higher, almost on a par with Adelaide. Gold Coast might replace us in the four. Injuries rule the day don't they?

I just can't seeing us making the top 8 next year, we will probably get a lot of injuries again. But I'd like to see the offseason changes, might impact whether we finish higher or lower. We finishe 11th? So our draw should be very easy? So maybe that can help is scrap into the 8

Personally, I don't really care if we don't make the finals again as long as there is significant improvement in our endeavour week in, week out.
Basically, we play like Port Adelaide (circa 2013) next year and i'll be extremely happy.

Not a chance we finish 3rd.

Carlton probably wont finish bottom but Im doing this for fun and that would be an enjoyable outcome

Quite a tough exercise, because it's easier to see more teams improving than teams going backwards. I think next year with be the last of the Hawks dominant run, and Geelong will start to go down, but any team with Hawkins and Selwood isn't going to be a basket case. I think if we have a good run with injury, we'll be back in the mix - our first half of the year showed we are good enough when up and running.

I can't see this thread divulging into a s**t fight at all. :thumbsu:

I'm predicting around 7th to 9th.

Collingwood top 4 hahaha, no wonder we get bagged for being so one eyed lol. I think the top 8 teams are all ahead of us comfortably in their development of players. They have more experience than us and over all have a better mix of players.

For me the goal and the pass mark of 2015 should be 12 wins and produce a more consistent display by beating the teams we should and not falling away like we did this year.

Sydney
Port Adelaide
Hawthorn
North Mebourne
Richmond
WCE
Fremantle
Geelong

Gold Coast
Collingwood
Adelaide
Essendon
Brisbane
WB
GWS
Carlton - they are a decent chance to win the spoon as well-

1. Port Adelaide (Scarily good team)
2. Fremantle (Still be up there)
3. Sydney (Start to feel the strain)
4. Gold Coast (Can just see their rise)
5. North Melbourne (Might get a bit better before falling)
6. Hawthorn (Start to feel their age)
7. Geelong (Injuries and age will start to affect them)
8. Collingwood (We will hopefully still be up there)
9. West Coast (Not seeing any rise)
10. Adelaide (Same as West Coast)
11. Richmond (Same as West Coast)
12. GWS (They will start to get better)
13. Bulldogs (Unless they get a key position player, they will be stricken here)
14. Essendon (Depending on the ASADA outcome)
15. Brisbane (Second year blues)
16. Melbourne (No attack instinct)
17. St Kilda (Ross Lyon has destroyed them)
18. Carlton (Really struggle to see any upside)

St kilda haven't bottomed yet. Nor have we. St kilda for the spoon, we will be bottom 5. Carlton to finish in the same boat with us.

Brisbane on the up, could challenge for finals. Freo and Geelong to start a slide into the bottom reaches of the 8 first up. Sydney and Hawks still top 4. Adelaide and west coast marking time.

1) Sydney

Interesting to see people saying North will be top four next year. I think they'll slide as Petrie, Harvey etc decline. Think Port's rise is much more sustainable.

I like to make comparisons between our current team and Hawthorn of 2008-2010, got knocked out first week of finals against a young Fremantle side in 2010 and bounced back in 2011 by getting within a kick of the grand final, we've seen how fast teams can rise and fall in this comp, with some smart recruiting to already top off our talented list, we're every chance for a top 4 finish or there abouts next year. Really hope people ride us off next year, just like they did Port before this year started.
