....I am not sure why anyone is surprised at what has happened to the USA and the insertion of a corpocratic fascist slave based tyranny

The current corpocracy in the USA is the 5th such fascist period since 1776 and this particular oppressive Oligarchical tyranny is extremely well entrenched into the fabric of US militarism, power and private wealth.

You now understand what the Patriot Acts are all about - and they have nothing to do with fighting terrorism offshore.

You now understand what the newly rammed through NDAA Congressional Act, that has been signed by the Obama corporate war puppet clown is all about - and it has nothing to do with fighting terrorism or national security.

Currently the USA is officially under a state of martial and emergency law. No different to Egypt. In fact Iran is a freer nation than the USA as we speak.

The US constitution, bill of rights and therefore its fundamental common law pertaining to its citizenry has been suspended.

    Why????

Remember, the enemy in the USA has always been its people.

(Shouldnt concern anyone in Australia, because here we dont really have a constitution or bill of rights that protects anyone in stone. In fact the current government can unleash the Australian military forces upon its people via a simple agreement of 3 ministers of the crown in the current ruling government - and that shoudlnt be difficult to do over the phone now should it?)

Technically yes - but I was referring to Australian forces being used against Australian civilians

The anti discrimination act has been suspended twice

Once to allow the NT intervention and again to allow the dissolution of ATSIC

Both were racist state acts so required the suspension of anti discrimination laws.

The initial politicised report that claimed rampant child abuse in indiginous communities in the NT had some very interesting statistics.

About 2500 indiginous families were examined in the NT and approximately 35 cases of child abuse were identified. Of these 35 only 7 cases were eventually verifed as authentic.

So 7 cases found in 2500 families, which is about the average for the rest of Australia - sounds like intervention acts should occur all over Australia hey folks?

And what nice young lady lawyer propagandist that conducted the report on behalf of the Howard regime.

You now know why the Howard government refused entry to an independent UN observer panel that was to enter the NT and look for themselves.

Australia is a disgrace when it comes to its treatment of Aboriginals.

And mining corporations have been bending them over for decades

I don't like the intervention act, but it is not purely about child abuse in a direct form that can be prosecuted, it is more about trying to break the cycle of dependence on welfare.

Your comments about mining companies are extremely ill informed. Mining companies have done more for the aborigines in the last 25 years than the government has. I suggest you look into some of the deals that have been done which guarantee employment opportunities, building grants for remote communities and help in providing better teaches and improved health care services.

What a load of misinformed baloney!

Mining coompanies have mined land for profit and exhausted it.
    Its what they do.
theyre not interested in the indigenous people.
    Tokenism.
theyre interested in profits stockmarkets and stockholders.

You can put lipstck on a pig but its still a pig!!

Now on the USA and its goosestep.
Its amazing how many wars they and their deputies are involved in and wanna be involved in.
The irony about the countries trying to sanction Iran is they all have nukes.
Secondly , these cowards try to disarm nations before bashing them.

The whole thing internally and internationally with the USA is very Nazilike.

Which bit dont you like? The billions handed out to buy land? The fortune spent on specific housing and health scheme for them? ABSTUDY? Having a right to negotiate which farmers dont?

Or just all of the above?

    banana talk!
maybe you should go live on some of that land.
educate your kids on some of that land.
get yourself healthcare on some of that land.

You know you are talking banana talk dont you?
If they got such a good deal people would be flocking there.

White man took the land away from the indigenous Australians.

Youre forgetting the land grab, the poisonings the shootings and the lynchings.

It may well be a pig, but what the government is doing is more like manure, at least you can eat a pig.

On the US, what is even more worrying is that virtually all the Republican candidates aer even further to the right than what Bush was.

    Twiggy says "Hi".

As do the communities that are not helped at all by simply having untied weekly payments and no further support... who then require government subsidy for diesel generated power and so on.

The govt is meant to do a crap job.
How else would they justify privatisation?

Run things into the ground means selling them off.
Selling everything off means profits for corporations .(supposed to be more competitive and cheaper) LOL

Youre not following things are you???
