Great tribute to Hayes.

A tribute to the football public as well. They know a champion and a gentleman when they see one.

Hayes got rounds of applause and standing ovation. Not all retiring champion players get that, only those that are respected for being tough but fair - as well as a champion.

Didn't see the Jones, Gwilt stuff. Thanks to you blokes as well for your service.

Glad there wasn't any indication of the same for Chips.

Although not confirmed but did look like it is the end of a few other older guys as well, thank you to them as well and everything they have achieved at St Kilda.

From a personal perspective, what a fitting way to finish off your career. Smashing the all time tackle record with an incredible 13 and speaks volumes about how he played his entire career.

My whole family was teary eyed watching Lenny walk off for the last time. What a champion player and great bloke.

Well done Lenny on a fantastic career!
